This month's edition of IT Bytes will touch on a couple of significant updates to the network. The NPDN portal (www.npdn.org) has been upgraded to version 10 of Drupal with minimal interruption to the network. Drupal is an open-source content management system packed with improvements that allows us to customize the look of our site more easily and improves content modeling management, performance, and more.
Additional work that took place during the month of November was the updating of our custom new user account software that will now automatically create the user’s account in LearnUpon using an application programming interface (API). This improvement will streamline the new user account process and save time associated with creating and modifying accounts.
Lastly, a reminder for the 2024 Virtual IT Conference coming January 24th from 1pm-5pm Eastern which is open to all members and then January 25th from 1pm-5pm for Committee Leadership workgroups. Save the date: NPDN IT Meeting
